A Rater's Guide to Responding to a Clinical Review

Everyone with a Health Care Level (HCL) of 3 or higher are required to have a Clinical Review. This review process serves as a quality intervention to ensure that scoring is as accurate as possible and that the Rater utilized best practices while screening. It is important that once a clinical review is completed that the Rater accesses the record to address any questions, corrections, or issues the reviewer may have found while completing the review. This is time sensitive and should be done at the Rater’s earliest convenience.
